Delivery

My copy of Miss Dahl's Voluptuous Delight's just arrived!  I had ordered Sophie Dahl's new cookbook on a whim, along with 'Self-Editing for Fiction Writers.'  I was intrigued by the pretty pictures and the recipes looked like even I could attempt them.  I have always been a fan of Sophie's writing - it has a sort of magical quality to it, whether she is writing fiction or journalism.  I look forward to reading this and will let you know my thoughts!

Office Space

I am majorly lusting after this bookcase/desk combo from Ikea.  They are opening a store in Dublin soon.  It will be their first store in the Republic of Ireland and I am super excited to visit it!  

I ♥ Filing

I spent today filing the many assorted articles, documents and clippings that were scattered around my writing room.  Some might find filing a bore but I actually think of it as a very therapeutic experience.  I love when it's all finished and everything is wonderfully organised (for a while at least!).  This morning I visited the Tesco stationary section and bought some pretty pink folders and dividers to hold my stuff.  While I was there I couldn't help but notice how cheap their books are.  Granted they don't have a great selection, but they do have many of the top-selling paperback fiction titles for as little as €5.95.  I resisted the urge to buy though, as I already have a huge pile of unread books at home.
